Sweet meets savory in the best way.
This chicken is herby, juicy, and finished with a strawberry balsamic glaze that brings just the right balance of tangy and sweet. Pryme Thyme gives it that savory backbone, while the glaze does what it does.
This is one of those meals that feels party ready without asking you to do too much. In fact, I created this recipe for a neighbors summer party. And it was a hit.

Ingredients
blank
4 boneless skinless chicken thighs (breasts work too, but thighs stay juicy) or 1 lb wings for your next party
- 1 ½ tbsp Tasty Tin® Pryme Thyme
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Juice of ½ lemon (trust me, this matters)
½ tsp To Taste
blank
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled + chopped
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp honey (or maple if that’s your thing)
Pinch of black pepper (or To Taste)
Optional: 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
Directions
blank
Add strawberries, balsamic vinegar, and honey to a small saucepan over medium heat. Simmer for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the strawberries break down and the mixture thickens slightly. Mash the berries with the back of a spoon, then stir in black pepper and thyme if using. Set aside to cool.
blank
Pat the chicken dry. Toss with olive oil, Pryme Thyme, lemon juice, and To Taste until evenly coated. Let sit for 10–15 minutes if time allows.
blank
Bake at 400°F for 25–30 minutes until cooked through, or grill over medium heat for 5–7 minutes per side.
blank
Once cooked, finish under high heat. On a grill, move over direct flame for 2–3 minutes. In the oven, broil on high for 3–5 minutes until lightly charred.
blank
Spoon or brush the glaze over the chicken just before serving. Serve extra on the side.
