Looking for a quick, crowd-pleasing snack or topping? These candied pecans made with Tasty Tin’s A Sprinkle of Spice are the perfect balance of sweet, warm spice, and crunch. With just a handful of ingredients and only a few minutes on the stovetop, you can create a treat that works beautifully for salads, desserts, charcuterie boards, or simply snacking straight from the jar.

This recipe quickly became a favorite in my kitchen during the holidays, but the truth is these spiced pecans work year-round. Make a batch ahead of time and keep them on hand for entertaining, gifting, or adding a little extra flavor to everyday meals.

Candied Pecans with Tasty Tin’s A Sprinkle of Spice

Ingredients

  • 2 cups raw pecan halves
  • 6 tablespoons brown sugar

  • 1.5 tablespoons water

  • 1 tablespoon A Sprinkle of Spice (or more if you’re feeling bold!)

  •  ½ teaspoon vanilla bean paste

Directions

  1.  Add all ingredients to a small saucepan over medium heat.

  2. Stir constantly to keep the sugar from burning, until the sugar melts and coats the pecans evenly (about 3–4 minutes).

  3.  Lay the pecans out on a parchment-lined baking sheet in a single layer.

  4.  Let them cool and harden for about an hour.

  5. Store in an airtight jar for up to a week.
