Summer of Strawberries

Strawberry Glazed Chicken with Pryme Thyme

🍓🍗

Because fruit belongs in the main course too

So my neighbor decided to host a Strawberry Soiree 🍓 this summer and yep, you guessed it, the theme was all things strawberry. Most people immediately think strawberry shortcake, strawberry ice cream (side note, we’ve got a no churn version on the blog) or a classic strawberry lemonade (yep, we’ve got a blog for that too) 🍨🍹

But me? My first thought is always, how can I use it in something savory? 👀

I’m not the biggest sweets girl to begin with. I’ll take an appetizer over a dessert every single time and pretzels always beat cookies in my book. So even when I’m working with the sweetest fruit in the bowl, I want to find a way to let it shine in a dish that leans more dinner than dessert.

This recipe right here is the answer. Strawberry Glazed Chicken that’s just the right balance of sweet, tangy and savory. We start with my go to blend, Pryme Thyme, to give the chicken a garlicky, herby foundation 🌿 Then we top it with a simple strawberry glaze that pulls it all together and makes it feel just a little fancy without doing the most.

It’s easy, it’s flavorful, and it absolutely deserves a spot in your regular cooking rotation 💁🏽‍♀️✨
