Cucumber Salad

This quick and refreshing salad works great with anything. We love adding it to a simple dinner with grilled pork loin . Or as a cooling side dish to jerk chicken. The tangy sweetness gets enhanced with our signature garlic dust.

2 ½ English Cucumbers thinly sliced (we use our mandolin for even cutting)
½ red onion thinly sliced
1 tsp Tasty Tin® Garlic Dust
1 ½ tsp sugar
¼ tsp kosher salt (optional)
2 ½ tbsp vinegar (red wine, champagne, balsamic use what you love!)
1 ½ tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil (optional)
¼ cup crumbled feta cheese (optional)

Instructions

Mix cucumbers and onions in a medium sized bowl
Add sugar, salt if using, and garlic dust. Let stand for 5-10 minutes
Stir in vinegar
Refrigerate for 15 minutes
drizzle with optional Extra Virgin Olive Oil and feta. Serve chilled.
