Tasty Tin Crab Dip

The perfect hot dip for your next get together. Serve with crackers or toasted bread,
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella
1 package cream cheese
½ cup margarine
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tbsp of Garlic Dust
1 medium red pepper, finely chopped
1 small onion, finely chopped
12oz fresh picked lump blue crab meat
Let margarine and cream cheese come to room temperature. It allows for easier blending.
Preheat over to 425 degrees and butter a large oven proof dish
In a large bowl, with a spoon, blend margarine and cream cheese together until well incorporated.
Add in onions, peppers, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, garlic dust and 1 cup of mozzarella cheese.
Gently fold in crab meat.
Transfer to buttered dish and top with remaining cheese.
Bake in the oven for approximately 30 minutes or until the top is brown and bubbly.
Let is rest for 5 minutes then serve with crackers or toasted Italian bread slices
